Ben joined us in February 2026. He began his career as a documentary filmmaker and director on BAFTA-winning shows, developing a strong instinct for telling powerful stories and leading ambitious creative projects. He later brought those skills into creative agency work and campaigning roles. While directing food travelogues and programmes such as The Great British Bake Off, he became fascinated by how storytelling shapes the way people think and feel about food. He now draws on that experience to lead campaigns for a future where healthy, sustainable food is affordable and accessible to everyone.
Hannah joined the team in May 2026 as Senior Policy and Advocacy Officer, working to transform school food. Previously, she worked at The British Academy on issues including food security, Net Zero and global health, and at USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance tackling global food insecurity. Hannah holds an MSc in Africa and International Development from the University of Edinburgh, where she undertook a research project focused on improving the provision of food and education for female-headed households in Kakuma Refugee Camp. Outside work, she enjoys cooking nutritious food, reading, exploring independent coffee shops, and seeing the world through her toddler’s eyes.
