Podcast: A turning point for school food?
Big changes to school meals hit the headlines this week so we're delighted to have an exclusive interview with Olivia Bailey, the Department for Education Minister responsible for school food, on this week's podcast.
She shares her vision for a better food environment in schools and how upcoming changes, including the expansion of Free School Meals and a consultation on food standards will work, during a conversation with our Executive Director Anna Taylor.
The episode follows the launch of the School Food Project, involving Chefs in Schools, Bite Back, School Food Matters, The Jamie Oliver Group and The Food Foundation, who are working together with the aim of making school food across England a source of national pride.
