Measures to improve children’s diets are urgently needed if this Government is to achieve its aims of raising the healthiest generation of children ever.

Existing nutritional safety-nets including the Healthy Start scheme and Free School Meals are vital for protecting children’s health and educational attainment, but are currently failing to reach their potential.

So ahead of the Autumn Budget we've published a letter of recommendations for consideration involving critical improvements to strengthen these measures so they protect children and help them reach their full potential.
