Pod Bites: Struggling to put food on the table
New data shows food insecurity levels are rising across the UK as growing numbers of families struggle to afford healthy, nutritious food.
Findings from our latest Tracker show 12% of households experienced food insecurity, rising to 15% in households with children. More than half of those affected said they'd cut back on fruit and veg as a result.
To analyse the data and implications, we speak to Food Foundation Research Lead Holly Cooper, who explains why a Good Food Bill is needed to protect citizens from another cost of living crisis in today's podcast.
