Described as an "unflinching exposé", it charts the historical evolution of the food system and offers an alternative path that prioritises global health and justice.

Dr Gillespie has worked in food, nutrition and health around the world for more than four decades, including at several UN agencies and has written around 200 publications including 10 books so has a nuanced perspective of the salient issues.
