The Vegetable Summit 2017
09:00 - 17:30
The Vegetable Summit is an annual event by Peas Please, an initiative led by The Food Foundation, Nourish Scotland, WWF and Food Cardiff.
Veg is good for business, the environment and our health, and this inaugural Vegetable Summit was about pledging bold action.
We convened retailers, restauranteurs, caterers, manufacturers, growers, broadcasters and government representatives simultaneously in London, Cardiff and Edinburgh to make commitments that will shift our food system to make it easier for everyone to eat more veg.
London
The English Vegetable Summit was held at City Hall, London.

It featured Cardiff Council, the Children’s Commissioner for Wales, children from Ninian Park Primary school, Flagship Welsh business and social enterprises, a veg masterclass and delicious veg lunch.
