Small Businesses
If you run a cafe, restaurant, food market stall, shop or takeaway you can use the Bang in Some Beans campaign and assets to engage existing customers and appeal to new ones.
If you already serve or sell food that has beans, pulses or lentils as ingredients, our Supporter Toolkit contains free assets to promote your business, including social media assets and key facts you can utilise.
You can also use our tried and tested recipes which include 'blended' dishes where beans, legumes, pulses and lentils are part of - and don't completely replace - other ingredients.
Social Retail
If you work with a food pantry, larder, social supermarket, public diner or food club then Bang in Some Beans can support engagement with those who are food insecure as well support better health for your beneficiaries and the planet. Beans, legumes and pulses can also make budgets go further as ingredients in 'blended' dishes.
The Food Foundation understands that these ingredients are not always available in your sector and are working with key providers to have more pulse and beans in the supply chain.
