Pod Bites: Climate shocks and food prices

If you bought any Easter eggs this weekend you may notice some of them have more than doubled in price.

But did you know Climate change was largely responsible? Media reports say a heatwave in West Africa destroyed crops, leading to a shortage of cocoa. This sort of scenario is exactly why we're working on a new project to try and solve the issue of climate-driven food price inflation - and examine how it impacts the UK's most disadvantaged communities.
