Within the contract catering sector Compass Group UK & Ireland remain leaders as they now report on the percentage of veg procured. However, they have not renewed their commitment to increase the amount of veg they procure which expired in 2022. They still maintain their target to switch from animal based towards plant-based proteins- the only company from the Out of Home sector to do so.
The OOH sector performs most strongly on the climate change metrics, however, there is a lack of transparency across the other metrics.
