20% of our shopping baskets should be veg, but in fact it is a third of that.

Veg is a key differentiator for retail and one of the main drivers in store preference so better performance in veg can be linked to better performance overall. Use this toolkit to move towards the 20% target.

There are small differences between the UK nations in the weight of veg sales as a proportion of overall food sales: England 7.3%; Scotland 6.6%; Wales & West 7.1%
