Brexit or Bremain: the EU referendum and healthy and sustainable diets.

The Food Foundation, Food Ethics Council and Food Research Collaboration are co-hosting an event to examine the forthcoming EU referendum, and how it may impact on healthy and sustainable diets.

The event will see a group of food system experts – including Professor Tim Lang, City University London and Professors Fiona Smith and Wyn Grant, Warwick University – scrutinised by a cross-Party panel of high-level Parliamentarians. Contributions from the floor, and all perspectives, will be encouraged.

This event will explore the referendum’s implications for food security, subsidies, prices, safety, and culture. Implications of both outcomes will be critically explored.
